Today is the day we part and say farewell

I look toward the East, the slow rising sun

And I send gratitude to Summer

For it’s peace, love, and fun.

The day of the Equinox emerges

And the door to summer closes

So we say farewell once more

To garden grown tomatoes, basil, and roses.

Stepping through the veil to the next adventures

Autumn, the glowing weather season

A moment to slow down and pray

Time for clarifying the path, and the reason.

Waking to cooler weather

Greetings autumn colors, beauty to ponder

Pledge to enjoy every moment pre-snow
